PDPA for Salespersons – CPD Courses
CPD Courses Synopsis: This core CPD course, covering the provisions under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012, aims to provide a good understanding of the Do Not Call (DNC) and PDPA provisions that come into force on 2 Jan 2014 and 2 July 2014 respectively.
All salespersons are defined as “Organisations” under the PDPA 2012 and shall, therefore, be liable for full compliance of the Act. If convicted, the salesperson may be subjected to a maximum fine of $1million for violation of the PDPA.
Credit Hours: 2 core CPD hours for the mandatory core CPD scheme
