CPD Courses Synopsis:
This CPD course is about the CEA’s dispute resolution schemes. The approved centres for dispute resolution will be introduced, the fees chargeable by each centre and the mechanics involved. Disciplinary proceedings for salespersons who breach the Code of Ethics and Professional Client Care (CEPCC) will be discussed too. In addition, case studies of misconduct will be discussed to serve as a reminder to all on what to look out for in their practice.

CPD Course Objectives:
Participants will have a good knowledge and understanding of the following:
1. CEA’s Dispute Resolution Schemes for clients and estate agents to use to resolve disputes.
2. Mediation and Arbitration Centres approved by CEA.
3. Mediation and Arbitration fees to be paid.
4. The conduct of Disciplinary Proceedings when estate agents or salesperson are charged.
5. Relevant Case Studies.
